Here are some FAQs
What is GradReady?
GradReady is an interactive, web-based financial literacy program that
uses multi-media tutorials to teach post-secondary students about
important personal money management topics like budgeting, credit
and student loans. GradReady also provides students with a suite of
tools that can help them better manage their finances while they are
enrolled, as well as plan for repayment after graduation.
What about reporting? Can we track results through
the GradReady program?
Yes. GradReady’s system provides detailed, on-demand reporting that
enables you to:
- Ensure that all students are participating
- Measure their competency throughout their education
-
Identify at-risk students who may be struggling financially, and intervene
at an early stage so they can stay in school and move toward
graduation
-
Provide hard numbers to business leaders and authorities who want
to monitor initiatives aimed at the well-being of its students
Can organizations customize the website?
Yes. GradReady is designed to reflect the identity of each individual
organization. Your GradReady website can be branded with your
organization’s logo and contact information. Additionally, the URL will
also be personal to your organization (e.g.
ABC.gradready.com.) In this way, students can develop a
greater connection to—and appreciation for—the organization’s commitment
to their future.
What topics does the GradReady curriculum cover?
GradReady’s financial literacy curriculum seeks to engage students
throughout their entire academic career. The curriculum is easily tailored
to all different cohorts of students. Organizations can introduce
education before students are enrolled with information about financing
their degree, then pick up again when students are enrolled,
gradually adding financial lessons, helpful tools and extra resources at
appropriate stages in their education. The final module delves into
repayment, offering students guidance on everything from postponement
options to savvy repayment strategies.
Throughout their GradReady education, students get lessons on
banking, budgeting, credit, debt management, smart borrowing,
repayment strategies, and even employee benefits and job offers,
among others.
